    Spinal tap issues?

    Advertisements
Anyone have major back problems after a spinal? Mine was a disaster, and now I'm having excruciating sharp pain the radiates through my lower back and down through my legs. It's making it hard to function and scaring me a bit. I can't straighten my legs, bend over to pick up DD, etc.

Anyone have this kind of issue and had the pain lessen through time? I can't live on pain meds, especially since I'm BFing.

    This really is just horrible

I'm so sorry. Have you called your doctor yet? I would do that ASAP.

I already went to the ER over it, they said the anesthesiologist more than likely nicked a nerve, and made it seem like no big deal. I do have an OB appt this afternoon, and I will definitely be bringing it up.

ya sounds like mine when they hit a nerve. 3yrs later I will still get random boughts of shooting pain like that. It will ease over time but that's like months. I stayed on the super strong ibuprofen they gave me, I out mint and lavender oil on my back wIth a rice warmed bag and that helped. Almost felt Like icy hot. And drink a lot of water. Unfortunately not much can be done. In about 8w If you are feeling healed seeing a cranial sacril therapist would likely help as well. I really hope it eases up on you sooner rather than later. mine tap and my incision have been acting up something fierce lately and it's excruciating I'm so sorry you are having to try to manage that instead of just being able to enjoy the kids.
