    When did you start solids?

Just curious...I started cereal once a day to see if it would help little man sleep, and it didn't I plan to wait until 6 months or until he grabs at food

When/how did you introduce food ? Did you wait until your baby could feed themselves? Straight to table food? Did you spoon feed them baby food?

I tried a few times with rylee but she wasn't interested in food till 6-7 months and then she wouldn't do a spoon so we went with baby led weaning. After doing that my future kids will do the same! So easy and allowed her no to over feed. We also didn't do cereals since they are empty calories and like feeding sugar.

I did cereal with Kaia at 4m and veggies at 5m. I didn't know any better. With Kalista she was strictly EBF until 6m when we started solids slowly with BLW.

It was around 6 months I started with purees, but then ended up doing BLW.

BLW is baby feeding themselves, right?

I'm just a little confused by the concept because there doesn't seem to be that much of a difference between that and just starting to give mush then solids as the child gets older. Def not trying to be snarky, just curious.

Rebekah didn't have baby food at all. Around 6.5 months she grabbed my sweet potato and shoved into her mouth and liked it. From then on a few times a day I gave her fingertip size bites of steamed carrots, steamed peas, baked apple bits, banana, or soft melon chunks. As she got older and got more teeth she got bigger bites.
