    Asa's birth story

    Advertisements
Forgive me for taking so long.

Well, on 10/30/13 I went in for my weekly appointment at the doctor and I was 3 cm but they decided to keep me because I was supposed to come in for antibiotics due to testing positive for group beta strep. Anywho, we went in at midnight and they hooked me up with antibiotics and around 7 am they got me started with a pitocin drip along with breaking my water. It was a fast delivery since I only pushed 7 times and he was here. They had their best OB on call since I was known for fast deliveries.

So, I pushed for just 3 minutes and he came out. I got to hold him for several minutes after he was born which I absolutely LOVED!!! I really think that's one of the reasons I'm doing better than when I had Ada. I'm not nearly as depressed as I was. I'm so happy and loving my new baby boy.

Ada is such a great big sister! Every time Asa starts to fuss she comes running trying to make everything better. I'm going to have to do something special for her.

DH: Thank you. ME: For what, babe? DH: For being you.

Kaitlyn is the same way with Ziva. She will be down stairs and hear Ziva cry then will come running upstairs saying "it's ok baby doll"
