    Nolan has arrived! **IMG heavy**

Nolan Riker was born October 8th at 3:47pm. He weighed 8lbs, 1oz and is so freaking adorable I can't stand it!!

I started having contractions around 11:45pm Monday night, I texted a supervisor to let her know that I would not be in Tuesday morning Things kept up so DH & I headed in around 12:45am, on the way to the hospital my water broke and that was about 1:30am. By 2am they had confirmed that I did not pee myself Things progressed quickly, IMO. I started pushing at about 3:10pm and by 3:47pm I had my love bug in my arms!!

I got some second degree tears but I barely feel them and over all I would say I'm healing nicely! The first night was awful and I was on A LOT of medicine to stop the bleeding, but nothing serious.

DH & I came home Thursday...unfortunately Nolan needed 1 extra night for jaundice. I slept a lot, drank some wine and did some laundry and then we got to bring our boy home on Friday!! DH is amazing, I get to take a lot of naps Breastfeeding has been a struggle but today he had just as much breastmilk bottles as he did formula bottles, so it's a start. My friends and family are SO supportive and I love how open I am able to be with them about everything

    Alright, now for the pictures!!

Our cat, Q, is not impressed with the baby!
