    Left over baby food?

    Advertisements
Madison is no longer eating purees (minus the occasional apple sauce). Pinterest has TONS of ideas of what to do with the jars & containers... but so far all I've found to do with the actually contents of the jars/containers is fruit leathers & cupcakes/cakes/etc...

anybody else have any ideas of snacks I can make from the purees?

    be cool.

Add it to soup/stew/maybe even smoothies (depending on the flavors, of course)

YDD still likes them in reusable food pouches even though she's almost 2. I have also been known to use them in mixes/sauces/foods to make them healthier (like some of the suggestions above). I'll put garden mix/veggies ones in my spaghetti sauce. The fruit ones would be good in pancakes too. I've also used the fruit ones on bread to make a lunch sandwich in place of jam.

My kids love smoothies. Or you could freeze them to make her little popsicles.

Sneak them in to baked goods, soups, eggs, etc. Popsicles might be delish to
