    I did it....

I do finally let ds cio. I checked(meaning letting him know I loved him and telling him it was nap time and giving him a kiss) on him twice 5 min each on the 2nd 5 min check I boobed him a little to where he wasn't all the way asleep. I was going to start checking every 10 min well he didn't make it to 10 minutes. He is out cold in his crib.

We are cosleepers and when he naps he is usually in the living room in his chair that mimics a car ride. So him taking a nap in his own crib is huge for me/him (he is in a stage of not wanting to be in it at all even at night.) He use to start out in his crib at first at night and then moves into our bed later.

So I'm just sitting here with a big smile on my face. Just thought if share.

Not really because as soon as I posted this he woke up screaming and hasn't stopped since. I just don't know what to do anymore I feel like a failure. He isn't on a schedule he does what he wants. Maybe I'm just not as good of a mom as I thought I was going to be...

Don't feel like a failure. It just takes time!! How old is he now?

Edit: never mind, just saw your ticker. DS was hard when it came to sleeping too. He didn't sleep through the night until he was a year old. Just keep trying!
