Big Grin My 6 week old!

I posted about my little Brycen's constant vomiting.

We had him on similac at birth. He would vomit and not have a bowel movement for 2+days. We switched him to Gerber Good Start Protect which he seemed to do great on for 2 weeks. He would pass stool every day! BUT 2 weeks later he started vomiting again but worse than on similac...

I brought him to the Dr to see what was going on, and she ordered an ultrasound. (EVERYTHING WAS FINE!)
so my Dr. had put him on rice cereal which just made his projectile vomiting worse and it had me worried that he was losing so much that he would start losing weight.

I again had him seen at the office, and we saw the other Dr at the practice who proceeded to place him on Enfamil for spit-up and zantac.

DH and I were weary about putting him on medication so decided to go against instructions to give him zantac twice a day.

Brycen stopped vomiting altogether just on the new formula alone!!!

    My happy little boy!

    Thanks.
He just hit the 9lb 1oz mark which is so exciting! He was a 5 pounder at birth (which seriously makes me wonder why I needed an episiotomy)!

Glad to hear that he is doing better!! I am supplementing with Similac and dealing with gas and constipation with Lucas but the doctor wants me to just add a little prune juice because he is not throwing it up.
