    Mommies please help!!!

    Advertisements
My almost 9 month old is refusing to go to sleep... For a week now! We need help! Last night he didn't go to bed till 5 am!!!! And then woke up at 8:30... He took a 2 hour nap ad that's it and now were back at it tonight for him being wired!! We have a routine he gets a bath, and then a bottle and its always been that way, but for some reason now he just doesn't wanna do the sleep thang! We lay him down and he cries and cries he stays in our room because we don't have our own place yet.

Anyone have any issues like this? Advice? ANYTHING!!!!

Stick with the routine, even if it's not working right now. Remove stimulation at bedtime. Is he teething? Gassy? Feverish?

Could he be teething? Have you introduced any new foods? Have you been drinking caffeine before his bedtime? Stay with the routine for sure!

Well the thing is as soon as we pick him up from laying down when he cries, he's fine and ready to play! No new foods, I drink caffeine before he goes to be but I always do because I work. He isn't acting like his teeth are bothering him!! We rub nighttime orajel on his gums anyways. He isn't feverish and he's always gassy!

Well around 9 months is a REALLY normal age for sleep regression. We ended up going through a lot of headaches and sleepless nights sleep training Kaia at that age because she went through HORRIBLE sleep regression. It sucked but she is an excellent sleeper now. It's a stage though, and it WILL pass!
