So these past few weeks I have been really thinking about starting to CD ds. What are some of you likes and dislikes about it.

Also. ds is a little over 18 lbs probably about to hit 19 lbs here soon what size would he be in. He is in Size 3 huggies right now.

    uuummmmmm cant think of any

It has been years since I have bought diapers, but he would probably be in a medium. One Size diapers would fit also. I would play around with different types and see what you would like. Sometimes sized diapers are the best option because of a babies build.

    My likes are basically :
They're relatively cheap in the long run. I bought some used on CL and then learned to make my own.
They're cute! I have a boy, so his diapers are my way of cutesy-ing him up.
They're easier to use over-all. Cleanup is really easy (even without a sprayer).
Less smell and I don't have to throw the diapers away outside to achieve this!
I don't have to worry that I'm going to run out of diapers.

    Dislikes:
I'm not really a fan of the pocket in my pocket dipes, so I never end up actually stuffing them. I just lay the inserts in and go.
    I absolutely hate microfiber.
I prefer Aplix to the snaps.
I don't like to use them when we go out.
Where are we going and why are we in a handbasket?

    Likes:

    Inexpensive
Last the whole time child needs diapers
    Adorable
    Less Odor
    Better for the skin
    Easier use
    Great re-sale value

    Dislikes:

About my own diapers I don't have any.
Long vacations can get tricky though.

    Preferences:

I prefer pockets. I have found that Alva and MoDia fit my LO best.
I love bamboo blends they are my favorite. Hemp isn't bad either.
    I prefer snaps hands down.

I had a doctor the other day ask my why Naomi looked like she had a "unnatural butt" He laughed after I explained the fluff. It was hilarious.

    Likes: Not buying disposables.

^That's the only one I need

The ONLY thing I don't like is the laundry. I love everything else. My girls only wear leggings when they wear pants, otherwise they are dresses and skirts all the way so CD's are no problem. I love how cute and convenient and CHEAP they are. A BUNCH of mine got ruined when we moved and so we are half in cloth and half in sposies while I try to save the ones that got ruined and it is SO EXPENSIVE just to buy sposies for both of them. I want to cry eery time we have to buy a new pack.

Im thinking about the prefolds, IDK though.... I am a little confused with the other one on how they work. Like for example when he pee's with the insert one wont I have to change the whole thing? And how they stay dry? I think I'm going to have to look more into it and how they all work.
