    Salt dough

    Advertisements
I decided to try my hand at being crafty and whipped up a batch of salt dough the other day. I made a few ornaments and some other larger things I'm not entirely sure what im going to do with yet Anywhere here are the finished products! I still need to shellack them and hang some ribbon on the ornaments but they are done being painted

I used 2 cups flour 1 cup salt 1 cup water as a general recipe but i basically just added flour until it became like a normal dough and not sticky to the touch. It seems to have worked pretty well although it took a little longer that the recipe advised to dry it out. I put them in the oven for a few hours but the bottoms werent dry so i just let them sit out for about a week before i painted them, just encase.

I made like 7 of those to send out to family. Still have to paint them though.

"Thank you so much. No matter what, nothing is possible without you behind the scenes bustin heads and takin names. Thank you again. Everything you have done for me means a lot and nothing has gone unnoticed. I love you so much and thank you for saying 'I do.'"
