    Valuable mommy lesson #193

    Advertisements
This weekend Cameron and I went home to see Grandma for the weekend. The forecast said it was supposed to be in the 70's today, so I packed onesies and a shorts/tshirt outfit. Well, a cold front moved in...and now it is 31* and feels like 22*. I figured it would be okay because I packed extra pj's, and decided that Booga would have a pj day. He decided to puke all over his warm fleecy pj's, then he puked on his dinosaur pj's. And so now he's just hanging out in a regular short sleeve onesie.

Oh, and he's also managed to puke on all 4 of his bib's. So I've learned to ALWAYS pack a warm outfit and always pack extra, extra, extra bib's.

What mommy lessons have you learned?

    never have a child?

(although that was learned by simply watching other mothers... I am still thankfully childless)

The most valuble lesson I have ever learned is "Silence is NEVER EVER a good thing"

I have learned to always pack an extra bag of clothes, no matter where you are going or how old they are. If you don't have it, they will need it
So close your eyes and sleep to dream. I'm by your side. No words to speak. We'll set our course and make it through. No matter how far, my heart remains with you.

This. Definitely this! Silence may be golden, but if you have kids...it's a warning sign.

Im so in love with you hunny. I know I have never felt this powerful of a love before, I have only thought it was possible for those rare lucky few. And now I think we have it. Or are we just now part of the lucky rare few? XOXO Love you hun. -DH 9/8/11

Two pacis are nowhere near enough for a day trip!
Always bring one bottle more than you think you'll need. (Especially if you have a chunky monkey!)
Keep extra baby wipes EVERYWHERE, including your car and diaper bag.
Never underestimate the length of his arms.
He is much faster than you could ever guess.

Oh I could go on forever...
