    Sad He is congested

Zach has had a little bit on congestion over the last few days, nothing that has been super alarming, just a stuffy nose here and there. Tonight it seems to have gotten worse and the bulb syringe thingy just isn't cutting it anymore

Going to try some steam in a few... not sure what else to do.

Maybe some saline solution I hate that at that age it's about all you can do for them!

Running the steam with help. Also try to raise the head of your baby up a little bit to keep the congestion getting into his lungs. Have you tried a nasal saline wash?

Evan had congestion a few weeks ago and it stinks when they're that age because you really are limited to what you can do. I did saline drops, suctioned with the bulb 15, ran steam, and let him sleep in his bouncy so he would have a slight incline. Oh and he got plenty of cuddles.

I really hope he feels better soon.

I second the nose frida. It is a wonderful product. It seems a little gross at first but the relief it provides is definitely worth it.

I agree with the nose frida! David always HATED the bulb syringe but thinks the nose frida is hilarious. It is pretty funny when I'm trying my damnedest to suck boogies out through a tube but you do what you gotta do...

THIS. It changed my life. It's amazing, and there's no risk of hurting his little nose if he turns his head suddenly. It gets the really deep stuff out so easily.
