    Who should I call??

    Advertisements
For the 4 plus days DS has had green poo. I gave him a bath tonight and noticed his poo was kinda stringy mucus looking. And all day he has been pretty much been pucking half of what he ate if not more (not sure because he is BF). After he pukes it up he is hungry again. And on top of that he just hasn't been happy at all, all day. I just feel so bad.

Im not sure if I should call my lactation consultant or his pediatrician? Or am I just over reacting?

Honestly, to me that sounds like he's getting too much foremilk and you have an overactive letdown. But I would probably call the lactation consultant first, and then the pediatrician if (s)he didn't know.

How are you feedig? One side? Both sides?
Like pp said it sounds like an inbalance.
What is best is to do one feed per side. If your all ready doing that them block feed. It's where you feed from one breast twice then switch. It should clear up in 1-4 days.
