    Diaper booster pads??

    Advertisements
Anybody have any experience with these?

I have a long-stretch tummy sleeper who has suddenly started waking up DRENCHED in urine, head to toe. Tried the pampers baby dry, try pointing his penis down, all that good stuff. Today I picked up some huggies overnight diapers and grabbed a pack of these diaper booster pads. Reviews online are excellent, but I have no idea the best way to position it within the diaper. Some say fold it, some don't...I just know to put it at the front.

Anybody else ever use these things?

I have never used them but I make sure they are positioned more toward the front and not fold them. I know some people have used maxi pads and stuck them in diapers for extra absorbancy when nothing else seemed to work.

Try cloth at night? A hemp and bamboo doubler should work.

I have. I've been trying different disposable dipes to see which ones I want to use for some upcoming trips. I got some horrible 7th generation dipes that leaked on YDD after like 1/2 hour of use.

I think it was Becca who recommended the boosters. Loved them! I was actually able to use the rest of that 7th generation dipe package without leaks when I used the boosters with them. I'm a huge fan of them when a dipe alone just doesn't cut it.

BTW, YDD is a super heavy wetter and wets like a boy (wets all at the front instead of the middle of the dipe).

Oh, and Huggies Overnights seem to be the only dipes that can handle pee and blow outs. Luvs can handle her pee even overnight but not her blowouts.

When I use the boosters, I don't fold them, just lay them in flat towards the front. I even tried using 2 boosters in a dipe at once and it worked amazing.

never used boosters, but always changed brands or went up a size and fixed the issue.

I folded and it was amazing...the huggies were definitely stronger than the baby dry diapers! Thank goodness, poor guy was getting soaked

I used cloth diaper inserts off and on with little man. Usually when he starts peeing through but isn't quite big enough to go up a size in diapers, but I have auto delivery for diapers from Amazon so I don't have to go out and buy them. Anyway, I have a set of 3 that I bought from amazon, I don't fold them and I do put more of the pad more in the front because he likes to sleep on his tummy. They always do the trick and are reusable! Can't beat that.
