    Screwy Relactating?

    Advertisements
Wyatt hasn't nursed since the beginning of May when he quit on his own. I never got engorged or anything, my supply just kinda dropped off within a couple weeks. Well, last week I woke up in the middle of the night to pee and I was leaking I haven't leaked since Wyatt was 2mos old and now I'm leaking almost 6mos after the last time I nursed.
How did this happen?? I know I'm not pregnant so since that's not the case, I'm at a loss

I'm no help, but I've heard you can randomly leak long after stopping production!

Sometimes it just happens ,if you gave been eating a lt of foods like oatmeal it can increase supply, something could have triggered it or your body is just over its dry spell.

    Aren't our bodies just grand

Hmmm, that's interesting, thanks! I don't like oatmeal so I'm trying to think of what else would do it. I think I'm just weird. DH says I should take advantage and pump so I can start building a milk stash now for Baby #2

Not unusual apparently. I wish it would happen to me. I'd be pumping like a mad woman till the very last drop.

I know I mentioned that to DH last night when he suggested that and he said that I should (and I quote) "Turn up the temperature in the oven to cook a baby faster" he was in rare form last night.

I agree with him about the oven.

    I know nothing about lactating.
