At what age did you stop swaddling for bed time?

The day he was born Wyatt never liked swaddling, in the hospital we would keep unswaddling and the nurses would come in a redo it. So basically I'm no help

We stopped when he started to roll over onto his side/stomach. Our pediatrian told us she recommends stopping at that point because if they end up on their stomach and their arms and legs are wrapped, they may have a harder time rolling back over. It always made me nervous to think of him face down and not being able to roll back over.

We stopped with my third around 5 months. By then he was so big he didn't fit in the swaddlers and he would "hulk" out of them while sleeping. With my twins, I only swaddled them for a few weeks.

Caden hated it from day one. I insisted on it for the first few weeks (most nights) but then stopped.

I have no personal experience with this being that I don't have a child, but I swear my parents swaddled me to the point of no return because I STILL need to always have a blanket on me or else I can't go to sleep

Ella was in a Woombie for close to 9 months I think LOL. When she had her arms down to her sides (or even pulled up over her tummy, which is what she usually did), she couldn't roll over.

In that case, I should probably add that Evan is 6 and still asks me to "wrap me up like a burrito." LOL

Thanks ladies! I was just wondering because sometimes Belle gets REALLY pissed off when I swaddle her. So I tried to go without last night, and she was up every 2 hours! FAIL. I swaddled her up after a couple of tries without, and she was out for her normal 3.5-4 hours. Lol!
