    Child...

Belle has been being such a crab!

Last night she was up entirely too often, just to be held. I'm pretty good about letting her self soothe, and it take less than 3 minutes. But she'd soothe herself to sleep and then be up again within an hour-hour and a half.

Now she's been fed, changed, held and loved on for the past 2 hours, but is whine-crying in her swing. She'll go from a light whine, to a loud cry, and then calm down for a minute or two, then pick back up again. I pick her up and she fusses, eventually falls asleep, and when I put her down she wakes up to be held.

She is not gassy, hungry or dirty. Just. Cranky.

I don't have a problem with her wanting to be held, I enjoy holding her, but she is beginning to use it to fall asleep AND stay asleep which is no good in this house. Wah.

(I don't really need any advice, for the most part we're okay. It's just hard to know when to let her fuss a little and when not to.)

Kalista does that sometimes. I think maybe she is dreaming? It's cute and a little sad and tough on my sleeping.

sounds frustrating. I know it can make you want to pull your hair out when you've got a cranky baby in the house and there's nothing you can do about it!

Maybe she is day dreaming! YOU DON'T KNOW!

Could she be an early teether? I usually jump to teething with Kalista when she gets all whiny but it never is.

THAT WOULD BE SCARY! She's only 6 weeks tomorrow!!!!! I don't know. Could be. Maybe next time I'll check her mouth out. She's finally sleeping in her swing... maybe it'll stay that way for a little while! My mom said we all got our first teeth at 4 months. With all of the babies I've worked with, the earliest I've ever found teething was at 5 months. I know it's possible though!

It just makes me feel helpless when I can't calm her down. Which is silly because I know that sometimes babies are just unhappy. Wah. Lol

We have a handful of babies in my Jan 2012 due date group that had teeth petty early! Besides, they can move around for a while before they actually come in, and that will make the poor babe uncomfortable for a few days until it stops. Their jaws are growing (well, their whole heads are... ) and that makes all that nonsense move around and get uncomfortable sometimes.

I hope whatever it is she feels better!! Poor baby!

I seeeeeeeee! Well if that's the case, let me just say I'm glad she's not on the boob. Teeth are scary.

    Thanks lady!
