    Leaving your 4month old

    Advertisements
Here is a question. Would you feel comfortable leaving your four month old with their grandfather (or another relative) in another state for 3 1/2 weeks straight? Would the thought ever cross your mind?

Personally I just don't understand it.

I would never want to leave my child for that long. It would be more about me though, I would miss my babies too much

If I NEEDED to then I would be okay leaving my son with my mom. I wouldn't choose to do that though because it's way too long for me to be away from my son.

Nope. I would never leave my child longer than a weekend period. I know someone who does this (3 weeks as well) on a regular basis.

I chose to have a baby therefore I will take care of it.

I am having a hard time watching my gf do this. Especially because the baby's father has NO CLUE his child is in another state. It feels so wrong. And DH and I are friends with them both and it has put us in a tricky spot. Especially because DH is in contact with the husband daily. .

This poor kid. I feel continually bad for him.

If something happened, and I had to leave my kids for the length of time, I would. But for a vacation? Maybe 5 days, but even that would feel too long to me.

Not unless I absolutely HAD to, like a life or death reason.
