my husband is trying to convince me to let him buy one today. he says he wants his daughter to have a "cool" carseat for his truck and that all his car magazines suggest them

anyway.. does anyone have one? did you like it? did you not like it?

They are a big, heavy seat, but pretty good.

We thought about getting that one but ended up with a Britax Marathon 70 after reading up on it and hearing what people thought on another site.

A couple of good things I can see from that seat are the fact that you don't have to worry about putting the seat in, and taking it out every time you go somewhere. I know I'm going to struggle with that. And, it's a convertible, so you don't have to worry about getting her a new car seat here in a few months when she outgrows her infant one.

I'm with ya on that one! I'm only using the infant seat because it was free thru a parenting class!

This is what we have and love it. Have him check them out, there are several prints, and it's not terribly heavy.

If we have another baby we'll probably end up just skipping the infant car seat and buying another convertible Britax.

We've used it since birth. Next baby will be getting the same, too.
