When it's time to get a shower, do you just take the baby monitor in the bathroom with you? Or?

DH is leaving for training and I'm wondering how I'm going to do this by myself

I always had to put Ada in her bassinet and put it right by the bathroom door so that if she woke up I could get to her. I hope you get your shower in peace!

DH: Thank you. ME: For what, babe? DH: For being you.

All my kids were put in their bouncy seats or bassinets and brought into the bathroom with me.

As they got older and their naps were most consistent, then the monitor was brought into the bathroom.

When my babies were as young as yours, I usually just put them in a bouncy seat in the bathroom with me.

I would shower at night when his sleep was the most consistent and deepest, if that makes sense. When he was that young, he was more likely to wake up because of noise during his daytime naps. At night, he was more likely to sleep through noise. I had him in a pack n play in my bedroom that was right outside the door of the bathroom.

Good luck! I can't imagine NOT having my DH home while trying to take a shower. Leo is sooooo clingy (less now but omg the first few months he was born sheesh!) that if I put him down he'll start crying. Not just a little cry nope a full blown omg you're killing me cry. I would love to take a shower right now but I have to wait till DH comes home to watch him so I can take one without the screaming. If your baby is like him then I agree with what someone else said and try to take one when he's in his deepest sleep. Good luck!

My husbands not gone but I plan on putting my child in her little rocker bassinet thing that came wih her pack n play in the bathroom with me if he's not here. It's small and convenient and easy removable from the pack n play.

I take the baby monitor in the bathroom with me and put it on the counter. It is set on the most sensitive setting (5), that way I can hear any movement/sound while she sleeps in her P'n'P. Just a couple of hours ago I heard her pass baby gas.

I was alone 3 out of 4 kids while they were babies, and I just showered??? I dont see a need in carrying a baby moniter everywhere I go or having baby in the same room at all times. Even for my clingy one I just put her in the room in her bed and locked the door so my son could not do something like try to pick her up.
