    Help Table food?

    Advertisements
Hey mamas. Me again. Aidan will be 8 months on Tuesday and is constantly grabbing at our food/drinks. We give him baby food 2-3 times a day. What types if 'table' food can we give him? *He chews good, but he only has 2 bottom teeth (although we're working in 6 new ones). We can't give him anything with dairy or soy, but I'm looking for ideas. Thanks!*

Baby Led Weaning - The Mush Stops Here!
We have been doing baby led weaning since 6 months. Pretty much skipped purees since its better for babies to feed themselves, and she hated purees in the first place.
She eats puffs, cheeros, carrots, apples, yogurt bites, pears, noodles, rice, peas, green beans, bread, and pretty much anything else we eat
Ph and she only has her bottom teeth. babies dont really chew with their teeth anyway.

Anything that you can mash between fingers they can chew. Mine always ate whatever we are eating.

I usually just buy canned carrots or peaches that are already sliced up in semi tiny pieces and let her feed herself. She loves them. They're already soft for her since until today she didn't have any teeth () And I started giving her those around 8 months.

Me too. That's why I've been so reluctant with it.

Anabelle gets tons of table foods, we really started.around 9 months. She loves grilled cheese, quesadeas, apple slices, oranges, prunes (but only one or two or you will have an exploding baby lol)
But really, I bet you will be suprised how well he handles it

Part of what makes this so hard is that he can't have any dairy or sky. A good deal of what we eat has one or both in it. 4 more months till we can start trying dairy again

We were also told no eggs, nuts or shellfish (any fish?) until he's a year.

By the age of 10 months, what we eat, our kids ate. The only thing they had trouble with was meat. We would cut everything up really small and let them go at it. Just watch them.

Noodles, Egg yokes (which is the ok part), fruit, veggies (cooked only), ect. We had it, they had it.
