Question Disposable Diaper Question - I feel lame for asking

    Advertisements
Most of you know I live in a world of cloth diapers. Which I adore. I have never bought sposies for Little Miss. She had the newborn ones from the hospital and then her cord fell off and she went straight into cloth.

Well now I have a problem...

We have to go to San Diego next weekend (4 days) for a Yellow Ribbon event. We will have no access to a washer/dryer meaning I have to put her in sposies. (Not thrilled mind you)

Problem is I have no idea what size diaper to buy her? How does one tell these things? I know it's problem a dumb question but I have no idea.

Adding a poll for "brand" of diapers.

The boxes have sizes on then 1,2,3,4,5,6...they also have weight on them. So find your daughter's weight range and buy that diaper my DD is 27lbs and wears size 4.

I'd venture to guess your 5 month might fit a size 2?!

I really like Huggies naturals but some people don't...we had a bad experience with Pampers getting gel stuff leaking out..it was gross.
Seventh generation is also really good if you can find them they are natural and don't have a lot of chemicals.
Many people find though that the LUVs brands and off brands work perfectly for them, my DD has sensitive skin though and I like the stuff that has less chemicals in it.

I don't have kids but a few friends and tons of people I work with do. Most of them swear by the wal-mart brand, even for babies with sensitive bums. Also, I 2nd the pampers leaking...I used to baby sit a lot and in one day I had 4 separate pampers leak strange goo all over me.

I love ONLY pampers. Luv's aren't bad they're just more rough to the touch. I said swaddlers. Because I prefer those but the snug and dry are fine as well. Just swaddlers are softer.

Anywho their is a weight reference on the box
