    Question Warming bottles?

    Advertisements
How do you warm your little one's bottles?
I usually take the bottle out of the fridge and put it in a bowl of warm water until it is slightly over room temp. Is that the wrong way to do it? Should I just buy a bottle warmer?

A friend of mine just runs it under warm water until it's at the right temperature so I don't think you're doing it the "wrong" way as long as it's getting warm.

"Thank you so much. No matter what, nothing is possible without you behind the scenes bustin heads and takin names. Thank you again. Everything you have done for me means a lot and nothing has gone unnoticed. I love you so much and thank you for saying 'I do.'"

i had the vent bottles so there was no nuking them. but i would either warm it in a bowl of water or ran it under the water. I kept shaking it to evenly heat it. I dont think there si a wrong way to heat it...however IMO bottle warmers are a waste of $$.

Microwaving can kill the "good stuff" in the breastmilk, so unfortunately that isn't an option for us. I just hate how long it takes to warm up, especially if he is crying because he is soo hungry!

Microwave a bowl of water and put the bottle in that to warm.

We used glass bottles so what I would do is pour it in a plastic bottle and put it in some water that I brought to a boil and then laet cool slightly. for the most part though I just thawed breasmilk in the baggies in warm water or used room temp for formula.
