    Carriers.....

    Advertisements
Ugh, I went to one of my local Kid2Kid stores today to just look. There was a Baby K'tan size small for $15 (I need an XL ), there was a size 4 Hotsling for $15 & a size 5 Hotsling for $25 (not sure what size I would need in that one, so I didn't wanna buy one that was too small). Oh yeah, & there was a light blue Ergo that was $56 (I'm not sure if I want an Ergo).

    Guess I'll just keep looking.....

I have a sleepy wrap and an Ergo. And I LOVE both of them, but I see us using the Ergo for a very long time and more often.

We live by our Moby - especially the first 3 months when he still didn't like the stroller. My advice would be play with as many as possible before buying one. You never REALLY know until the baby's born but you can at least put them on and practice different ones so you know what they're like.

The only reason I'm hesitant on the Ergo is because I've heard that the body of it is short & I have a feeling I'm gonna have a tall kiddo. DH is 6'5"!

Hmm honestly I've heard amazing things about the Ergo, but personally have a Beco (older generation, not the Gemini or the Butterfly). I love the thing. It's so easy to put on, SO much faster than a Moby and even my Mai Tei (which I like too, but I love the Beco more and find myself using it 99% of the time)

check thebabywearer.com in their FSOT section too

I have an Ergo, a tall husband and a long baby and it works out great!!!! We used the Moby exclusively when he was little and he LOVED it, and we still use it, but have been transitioning to the Ergo more as he gets bigger.

I still use my Ergos with my 2 year old. I have lots of carriers, but most I haven't used in a long time.

Ergo is an awesome carrier. It lasts a good bit of time, too. I still have the one I used with dd1. Over 7 years later and it's still in great shape.
