    Tri-Vitamin Drops A,C & D

    Advertisements
DS was put on these because he's breastfed and breast milk lacks vitamin D. Well I have noticed since we got him on these he's been what seems constipated and fussy. He also spits up way more and I think it may be due to him pushing so hard to poop.

Anyone have experience with these drops? I am waiting for a call back from the nurse

Are you sure it's the drops and not your diet?
They doNt really need the drops just let him get some sun when it's out through a window or in a walk and just eat a good balance of food
I personally only give the plain vit d drops you buy from the store. And only give them on cloudy days when we don't leave the house.

We were told to use the vitamin d drops while I was feast feeding. I think the tri vit is for older babies.

you obviously never been to WA! It's cloudy daily! I won't need it come summer but it always rains here!! I haven't changed my diet since he's came home and this is just starting

This is what the doctor prescribed I read online people saying that this also made their babies do the same.

When are you giving it to him? Someone I know noticed a big difference when she gave it to her baby before eating versus after eating.

England is the same way, been to wa 4 times but been fair pleasent when I went. If you truly think its bothering him then don't worry about them. Between lc There is some debut about giving the drops to babies. I lean more on the side of up to the mother.

I give it to him in a bottle. That's how they told me to do it.

In that case, you got me. My pediatrician didn't recommend them for us so I have no experience of my own!

I gave them to Aidan once, because we couldn't find the d drops when we went out of town for a family emergency. Never again. It made him super fussy and gassy and just yuck. We still give him the vit d.

Probably because you live in sunny AZ!!!!

I talked to the nurse and told her I'm also giving him one bottle of formula. She didn't think itd make a difference but said I could try every other day
