    Bottles.

    Advertisements
Ohh, soo many bottles out there!! I have no idea whats any good and whats not when I walk in to look, so, I figured I'd ask the experts

What are some brands and bottles that have worked for you, i know the nipple depends on the baby but what are some bottles that are just no good and some that a lot of babies take to easily and a lot of people have really liked.

I;ve had my eye on two kinds, the Playtex with the inserts that go in them, and the bottles with the curve for better airflow i think it is. are these any good?

awesome! I liked the drop ins cause it looks a lot easier to me to use.. like fact you can reuse that bottle cause all the dirty part is gone and in the trash.

We use both the Playtex Drop-In system and the Playtex Ventaire.

The Drop-In system is pretty awesome; especially when they are younger and you can squeeze the air out of the bottle to reduce colic and gas. Addison did have a little problem for a few weeks with gas but after some mylocon drops she was fine.

Now if you plan on buying a warmer to warm the bottles the bottom of the Drop-In bottles can melt (it's happened to us a few times) if you get to much water and it heats for to long.

Also with the Drop-In they are an absolute pain trying to feed a baby in the car. I recommend the Ventaire for car rides. Also another good thing about the Drop-In and the Ventaire (the wide ones) they use the same nipples so you won't have to worry about nipple confusion if you are worried about that.

We have a couple ventaire bottles but I found my DS had less gas issues (from air intake) with the Born Free bottles. He also has a medela bottle that came with the breast pump that doesn't vent the air and I for sure notice he has more problem with it then the other two so the various venting bottles really do make a difference. I wasn't concinved before we started trying them.

I used playtex ventair with Aiden and plan on doing it with this one as well. I hated the dropins though.

We use so many different kinds. With Emma, the only bottles that she would use were the EvenFlo ones. With Madison, she uses those and the Parent's Choice ones, along with Gerber First Essentials. We just grab them as needed and she hasn't had issues with any of them.
