:agree with all of this. If she isn't fussy, doesn't have a fever, etc. it probably is not cause for alarm.

The only thing I would add is that when Emma had a stomach virus the Dr suggested feeding small amount and letting her stomach settle some. So when I started with 5 min feedings and burped her and held her upright for 5-10 min and then did that a few times. But she was sick so wasn't very demanding about her intake.
Maybe try shorter spurts of feeding spread out a little more to let her stomach digest some. :dunno It worked for us.
Also, both of our girls have reflux and there are some signs I didn't think to look for as a FTM. They always liked their heads to be way far back (the Dr said it helps them keep the acid down) and they always make a "nasty taste" mouth. So maybe look to see if she's doing those too? Our girls would scream when they spit up though which was my big clue.
Okay, that's what I'm going to continue to do.
Yeah, I was (trying) to burp her between sides, or even if she ever unlatched, but she is hard to burp.
Thanks. Like I said, so far, she's such a good tempered baby - she only cries if she's hungry. She doesn't fuss or act cranky, at all.
Thank you. Our families hated it, but I love that it's classic. It's grown on them since she's been born. ;)
Thanks for the burping tip. We tried it last night. Took us almost 20 minutes to get a good burp out of her, but she didn't puke at all after nursing, so that's good.:cp
Thanks. She's my little princess porkchop :giggle
Well, I spoke too soon. I fed her before my post on here and she just heaved all over after I tried burping her, unsuccessfully. :(
Some babies are just spitty babies. she may just be one of them. just make sure you burp her as best as you can :yes Ansley is a spitty baby too. It sucks but what can ya do :giggle
I disagree with fussy and reflux though, jackson wasnt fussy and had reflux. i believe they call it silent reflux?
I don't mind if she's spitty, but when she's heaving and choking, it scares me to death. We are co-sleeping right now, and I had wanted to transition her to her pack and play, but I'm too scared she will spit up and I won't know. :(
