    2 Month Shots

    Advertisements
Jayden is due for his 2 month shots on July 17th well the doctors office told me they don't have any appointents until August 1st. Should I wait that long? They said they don't have any openings with any providers.

That's not a big deal. Dylan waited an extra month between his 2m and 4m shots.

Yeah, I would just schedule when they could get him in.

Ok, thanks ladies. I had the appointment scheduled anyway but wasn't sure if it was ok to wait.

Yeah. It's no big deal. I always make my appointment at the doctors office for the next one. Pretty sure you can't do that with base doctors, but with civilians you can. Not sure if you go on or off base.

Lyric got all her 2mo vax's at 3mo. I don't like doing them so early. Damien didn't get some of his infant ones until he was at least 2 YEARS old. It's not a huge deal if you're a couple of weeks late. Don't worry, mama!

Ya, I don't get why you can't on base. I've been able to make all of my appointments right after I've seen the doctor. But, for peds, you have to call after they reach the age they are supposed to be seen. We couldn't schedule Emma's 12mo, 18mo, or 24mo check ups until she was already that age. It's stupid.

I called the clinic and they DID have appointments. They said tricare doesn't always show that they have appointments available (made no sense to me) but Jayden has his on the 11th.
