    Help! Fast!!

    Advertisements
I have a sick baby Jayden is fever-ish, is projectile vomiting and is soooo fussy . I have no idea how to get ahold of the on call pedi, I've tried calling the office but nothing. I've bathed him and tried to get him cool but nothing is working. Someone help me please.

I think Urgent Care is the best bet.

There should be a main number for the information desk at the hospital. They will take your message for the on-call. It may take a few minutes longer to get the referral to go to urgent care but I have found on the weekends that is still faster than waiting in the ER.

If you haven't gone to the UCC yet, try calling these guys: 775-982-5757. They only respond to calls from certain states, not sure if MO is one of them, but they are available 24/7 and can tell you what you need to do. It's a hotline of registered nurses, and I've called them a billion times for DS.

How high is his fever? At his age, I'd probably head to the ER. Small babies can get dehydrated quickly.
