I bled for less than a week, and I'm on my first period now. (3 months PP) I thought it was coming like a week ago or so but it was just kidding then. It's definitely here now.

I was SO naive after having my c-section I guess cause it was emergency I didnt really have background knowledge and when I was bleeding right after it shocked me. I just always assumed most people bled just after vaginal births.

Your uterus has to shed the extra tissue either way .

I actually have had a lot of people say "oh you're so lucky you have c-sections, you don't have to deal with the bleeding after..." Ummmm... yeah ya do. Apparently it's a common misconception. I think I bled for a month after Damien. I'm glad it was only a week after Lyric.

By bleeding do you guys mean the actual blood or until you stop with everything? Because there's the clear yellowy stuff.
