    Question Should I be concerned?

    Advertisements
Kinda worried about bfing. Ansley hasn't been taking her usual 30mins to eat, now she is at about 10-15mins and this just recent nurse session, she kept pulling at the breast and fussing and then unlatching etc So i took her off and gave her a paci, to which she was content and started to doze so i removed it and gave her back my breast and she suckled for a few mins and then fell asleep. She sitting in her bouncey chair now, wide awake, hiccuping and spitting up, ugh. Should I be concerned about this? Is my supply suffering any?

ETA- i just tried nursing her again and it was the same. But her taking a paci, she fall asleep and seems fine. Maybe she is just frustrated bc she wanted to suckle and was mad bc milk was coming out?

Mine did that.. My OB said it was because my son was getting enough and that my milk had finally got all the good fats ect.. I still pumped though because i was scared i would loose my milk.. She will eat when she is hungry. Just keep an eye on her.

I wouldn't be concerned unless it's been a few days/a week. It may of just been something you ate that she doesn't like the taste of

Is she still having wet diapers and peeing enough? I would worry if her diapers go dry longer than usual but from what you say it sounds like everything is ok.

we had to make my Godson stay awake when he was BFING he would be so warm and cozy that he would fall asleep before finishing and he wouldnt burp before falling asleep so he would spit it up. we would have to strip him to the diaper to keep him up we'd tickel his foot etc. but until he's completely done with the normal feeding time he wasnt allowed to go to sleep then we'd burp him and then put the clothes on. of course we'd kep a recieving blanket on but we wouldnt keep him in a wool blanket etc.
    hope this helps!

Could be a growth spurt. Sounds normal to me. As long as she is eating and getting enough wet diapers, I wouldn't worry to much.
