mine fit through. if yours doesn't they will use the little wand thing on it. that's what they did with our bigger car seat and our stroller.

you can take bottles but I'm not sure about the water. I think you can but I'm not sure. they do a check on the bottles. I would bring extra bottles to put the water in just in case they won't let you bring the water bottles for whatever reason.

If your airline allows car seats, they'll check them by hand if it doesn't fit on the conveyor belt.

    be cool.

Mine fit, but the stroller did not. They had to put some papers on it to test for explosives, and then wand it. They did the same paper thing with the bottles. I took bottles filled with the proper amount of water through and each bottle had to be tested. I did take a reusable water bottle with a filter through. They asked if it was for the baby and I said yes. So they tested it as well.

you shouldn't have to take her headband off.

When I went through security they let me keep my carrier on, they may have you take it off though. It's possible that they felt bad for me because I had two babies

I would ask someone before you go through security, that way if you have to take it off, you have it off before you go through security. It's easy to get flustered if you have to do it and people are waiting behind you.
