    Birth control dilemma.

So, I hate being pregnant. But I also really hate the way I feel while on BC. I don't think the copper IUD is a good option for me. I don't know what to do.

Are you planning to have more children? If so, how long from now?

We would like more children. I would really like to wait 3-5 more years though. DH would probably like another one tomorrow...

i am pretty much having the same dilemma. Except I know not a thing about iud's. Dh has been saying that we need to figure out what we are going to do, but he has no ideas and is not very helpful coming up with solutions.
I am going to stalk your thread now

The only super effective non-hormonal birth control is the copper IUD, or condoms, unfortunately.

Not sure how you feel about condoms... but if you get Skyns, or an alternative to regular latex they generally feel MUCH nicer, and can be a great relief. They feel better for both parties.

That is what we are doing. We were together for like 4 years before we started TTC. Over that time we used everything from pull and pray to nuvaring, but nothing super consistent. It still took me 8 cycles to get pregnant. That is why I am still debating over the BC.

After you have a baby, it's easier to get pregnant again.

Have you discussed your options with your doctor?
