    Formula

    Advertisements
Hey all! My daughter is 10 months old and has gotten to where she will not take formula but will drink regular milk. She is completely off the bottle and drinks from a sippy cup. Is it ok to give her regular milk? Whats your opinion? I have heard many different things.

It depends. If you're baby can digest ot, why not? My kids went straight from boob to regular milk, but they were older before I gave it to them just becuase that was my choice. What does your doctor say?

I mention something to her dr about her not wanting the formula and all she said was her taste buds change and it happens. So that really didnt help much.

With dr you have to do more then mention you have to pursue it and find out what would be best for your baby. Seems like you've already givin her milk so it should be no big deal. If your still worried then maybe try lactaid it's lactose free milk

So I think I have found a creative solution to make her drink formula. Make her formula and then mix it with a little whole milk for flavor. Tried it and she seems to like it.

The toddler formulas supposedly have a different taste to them, so you can try one for older babies and see if she likes it. But you should definately talk to your doctor about before switching formulas.
