    what am I doing wrong!?

My daughter will go 5hrs of solid sleep one night before she wants a feeding, to the next night where she wakes up every 2-2.5-3 (the longest on those nights is 4hrs) hours for a feeding! I know a spurt when it happens (those are horrendous)

i just want to get myself some sleep, damnit.

Is she on solids? I would try giving her some cereal before she lays down for bed to keep her belly fuller. Also I know this is a controversial issue but if shes being bottle fed try putting some cereal in the bottle to make it thicker that might help it stay longer and help her stay fuller. ... 1tsp on cereal to 1 oz formula/ breast milk.

well I think I might have shed some light on what's wrong! She's getting her first tooth in!! I jumped for joy when I saw it. So cute.

Anyway, I have contemplated giving her cereal before bed, but everyone also suggests to give it after a nursing and she falls asleep with her last feeding! (i've mixed 2oz formula with 1 tbsp cereal just recently, and she's taken it, but in a sippy because we totally bypassed the bottle process in her life.)

I'm going to allow her to feed at night until this tooth comes through. it could be her comforting herself. after it cuts through I'll start the worry process over again LOL and perhaps more cereal in her life!

you just put them in their mouth and the dissolve. both of my kids (19 month and 7 months) are teething right now and nothing works like these things do. and apparently they taste good because they smack their lips when they're done
