Question Moby vs. Ultimate Baby Wrap

    Advertisements
So after hearing so many great things about the Moby wrap I was going to ask DH to buy me one. Seemed to me like a good way to go since there's no way I would feel comforable having a newborn in one of those regular upright carriers. Well, I was talking to my sister earlier and mentioned that I am probably going to get one.

Her friend says the Ultimate Baby Wrap is the way to go. I looked it up just briefly and from a picture I saw it seems just like the Moby, but I honestly haven't really looked into it. Have any of you moms used this one? And she also said she really likes Mei Tai Baby for when the baby is older.

    Any thoughts?

Never heard of Ultimate Baby Wrap, but looked it up and seemed to have just as high reviews as the Moby Wrap..

but it seems like its harder to find... unless you order it online

That's what I've found too. It was cheaper than the Moby, but I like the fact that I know people who have used the Moby and like it. Where on the other hand I never heard of the other brand until today...

Holy cow! That's expensive! I just went to Joanne's and bought 5 1/2 yards of Jersey Knit fabric. It cost me a total of $10 and I got 2 wraps out of it but cutting it in half length-wise.

see if I were to do that it would cost me the same cause I would have to drive 2 1/2 to get to a craft store lol
So getting the wrap already premade and everything for me is just easier.

So I got my wrap in the mail! So doesn't work well with a pregnant belly It is confusing but I get the idea of how to do it!

I would do Moby Wrap, or look into the Sleepy Wrap. The Sleepy Wrap is a bit higher quality, IMO, and you can get it for around the same price.
