You could ask the hotel if they have portable cribs.

Not worth it- you are going to need the pack-b-play anyway.

I don't really think it would be worth it, personally.

I'd rather have something like a bassinet. Amazon.com: Bassinet Cradle - Black Slate: Baby The one in this link is EXPENSIVE but you can find cheaper ones. This is just one I've used personally and LOVED and its on my dream list for when we have a baby. Orbit has an incredible line of baby products that I am IN LOVE with.

How old are you talking about the baby being when you're traveling? Do you just mean for sleeping or for "containment" if you need to get something done or wherever your're at is not really baby proof? For sleeping purposes the bassinet is great and I can't say enough good things about that one in particular.

I hated my pack and play. I had a good one for my middle child and almost never used it. It truly was a waste of money for the person who bought it for me. I ended up selling to a friend who wanted one.

I'm just trying to find something thats smaller that a pack n play for when we travel this summer. And this thing said it even folds up and fits in a suitcase! Thats why I thought maybe it would be a good idea, even though its Pink

I like it, folds up small which is a bonus with the travel you will be doing. I wouldn't put my babies in a pack an play until they were a bit bigger and I honestly don't use them that much, but that I would. JMO

I used my pack n play with the bassinet insert thing for the first 2 months, and I still use it to keep him out of trouble when I run to the bathroom. He uses it as a crib too when we're visiting family. I got a mattress that fits in it and I keep it with my mom since it doesn't fold up. It's up to you if you think you'll use it. I know I wouldn't have though.
