Question does this sound like teething?

    Advertisements
dd is almost 4 months, and i can't tell if she's teething. i can't feel anything with my finger, but she has that chin rash from drooling, chews her hand constantly, and has started waking multiple times per night. she used to sleep in 6+ hr stretches and only wake me once in the night. last night i got up 3 times ugh!

how do i know if she's teething if i can't feel anything on her gums? i don't know why else she would be waking so often now. it doesn't seem like a growth spurt because it's been going on for almost a week now, and she's not eating any more than usual during the day. thoughts?

Sounds like teething to me. I didn't feel anything for a LONG time when molly started teething. Then when a tooth was actually there, it got worse for a couple days. Now she is worse for just one day each time a new tooth starts to break skin.

    sounds like teething.

I couldn't feel anything in my daughter's mouth, but her gums started turning whiter... and then you could see where the tooth was.

Cora is doing the same thing. She keeps her hands in her mouth and the past two weeks she has been getting up at least 3 times a night whereas she used to sleep all night. I figured it is teething mixed in with her 3 month growth spurt. (She will be 4 months on the 1st)
