I fed from both sides each feeding with Zayne and I'm wondering If I can do it where Gracie is feeding from one side each feeding if that'll be better for my supply... hmmm.

I have always fed from both sides every feeding. In the beginning, it was about 10-15 minutes on each breast.

That's how I've always done it too. How old are you BF'ing until?

Hopefully we will make it to the year mark, unless he has other plans. I am not sure if I will want to go further than that or not.

I want to make it to at least a year this time. That's the reason I am asking about this. I'm trying to find ways to keep my supply good .

I fed DD both sides in 1 feeding, feed 10-20 mins rest 5 mins then feed 10-20 mins again. I fed her like that for about 8 mths then when I was weening her, I would do one side at a time and heat packs to sooth the pain. You might find if you do one at a time your breast sizes are noticably different

ETA: if she does only want to feed from one side, pump the other

I have had a really good supply, and I haven't really done anything along the lines of trying. I have always just nursed him -- no supplementing, no pumping. So far, so good!

I always nursed from one side for each feeding, unless we were dealing with a growth spurt or extra comfort nursing. Otherwise one side was plenty. Either way can work as long as you make sure you are emptying each breast before you switch to the other, you want to make sure she is getting the good fatty hind milk.
