Baby colds.

Hayden has had a cold since Tuesday. It hasn't gotten any better despite the saline drops, humidifer, baby vapor rub, anything. Is it time to call the dr or what should I do? He has no fever, but he is sleeping more than usual probably due to being sick.

with no fever or other signs of infection, there won't be much a doctor can do. It could also be allergies and not really a cold. Keep him hydrated, maybe try a warm mist humidifier ( or turn the shower on hot, close the door and let the steam surround you guys for a few minutes).

I didn't think about allergies. I have two humidifiers and I have had them running since Tuesday on and off and no luck with that yet He is just miserable.

I would take him in. It could be allergies, but there could also be congestion. When babies are that young it is hard to tell exactly what is going on. The dr. may reccomend a nebulizer to help.

I am glad I decided to just go ahead and call. They said since it's not getting any better that he should probably be seen so he goes at 8am tomorrow morning.

im glad you are taking him in. I know dh had a hard time breathing through his nose when he first came home and I had to let him sleep in his carseat while I stayed up watching him sleep to make sure he kept breathing. Me and dh took turns staying up..but eventually he got better.

Yeah. That's what bothers me the most. I always try to keep his nose as clear as I can, but it's not as easy at night time.
