weaning ? - New Moms

DS is 9 months old now and on FORMULA , i cant remember for the life of me right now when they can start having regular cow milk and when you can wean them from formula.....does anyone know ? when did you all do it ?

i want ot say my friend katie weaned her son timmy at 7 mo but he was always lactose intolrent.....

you're suppose to put them on whole milk when they're one, unless the doctor has said otherwise. OR they have next step formula but you aren't suppose to start that either until they're one. DO NOT take your child off of formula before they're one!!

1 year because their systems are NOT ready before 1 to digest it.

We were given the green light for cow's milk at 1. Their systems can't handle it before that.

yup, they should only be on formula or breast milk til they are fully a year old... there is toddler formula though... I don't know much about it but I THINK it might be easier on them than cows milk too. You'd have to look into it
