breastmilk storage/making bottles question - New Moms

DH and I are going out tonight

I've decided to be a big girl and leave carter for a few hours.

All I have is frozen breastmilk. If I thaw out a bottle, can I just leave it at room temp for him? Its good at room temp for a few hours right?

If not, should I thaw it out and keep it in the fridge? I could heat it up just once after that?

its really easy to thaw out under warm water.. i forget how ong you can leave it out at room temp.. off to look it up

I babysat for a couple once and she would just put the frozen milk in the fridge and I would thaw it out in a bowl of warm water.

Frozen breast milk takes nothing to thaw, leave it in the fridge till needed, then put it in a bowl with warm water. I'm sure you are gone by now though! I hope you are having a great time

when i babysat for a couple who had a baby that was 4 months old they gave me frozen breast milk and all i did was thaw it under some hot water and it was warm enough to give her

I nursed him before I left, and then a couple hours later he started getting hungry, so she tried the bottle. It was a no-go so she gave him his dinner solids. She tried the bottle an hour after that again and he chewed on it and managed to swallow 2 ounces because when he chews on it milk comes out

Then she called us and told us and said he would probably hungry soon, so we came back.

I don't get it! We've tried every flow/shape nipple we can find.
