Packing for a long trip..

I've never taken Maddox on a long trip besides when I moved..

I'm not exactly sure what to pack for him..

I'm going home for a week..

Can someone help me!? What should I pack and how much??

Clothes, enough formula, plenty of diapers and wipes, 2 weeks worth of outfits in case of accidents, pack and play or something for him to sleep in. Pretty much whatever you use on a daily basis, just extra.

This is what we always did with my 2 sisters when they were babies:
2-3 outfits for each day, normally babygrows along with 1 nice outfit for each day.(you never know how much of a mess they'll make of themselves! lol)
Enough diapers to last + extra
2 packs of baby wipes
baby powder
blankets
toys
milk bottles
breastpump (if you breastfeed and don't like doing it in public)
Crayon and paper, if he's at that age, keeps them occupied for hours
Anything else he uses on a day to day basis, changing mat (or ust use a blanket), burpie blanket, things like that

Hmm I was mostly wondering about qty..

I think I might just bring 10 outfits bc I will have access to a washer.. And 5ish jammies..

I think my gmma has diapers.. so I think I'll only bring what's left..

I just really don't know how many bottle liners I'll need.. (i use the playtex kind) I don't even have any right now.. Only like 10 left. I think I might go buy some once I get there...

How many blankets should I take??

He sleeps w/ me so I don't really need to worry about the play n pack and I think my grandma has one as well..

OH I need to bring his bed stuff that he uses to sleep w/ me..

We use the same bottles, I would add up the number of bottles he drinks a day and multiple that by the number of days. Then take a extra just in case.

As far as blankets, just take a few if you have access to a washer.

I always overpacked. It was a pain later.

You can always buy formula and diapers. Clothes and maybe a couple blankies. I always brought extra pillows because I never knew how many other people would have. Maybe something that smells like home too to comfort them.

They're the only bottles that helps w/ gas/colic for us!!

I guess I'll always be near a store.. so I could just buy a 100 pack and call it good.. if I run out then I'll just buy some.

Do you use the playtex liners or the walmart kind? My friend told me to use the walmart bc they're cheaper and thicker.. but I hated them. I'm bringing those and giving them to her.

Yeah.. I'm a BAD over packer.. that's why I asked lol.

I always end up living out of a suit case when I get home because I don't wanna unpack ALL the **** I brought lol

I use the Playtex liners. They aren't expensive and they work fine for us. I don't think you'll use a 100 pack in a week.
