running to get gas..
Do you ever leave your kid in the car to pay for gas??
I leave him in the car to pump gas, but never to go pay... I saw a lady doing it.. I talked to my friend and we're both too scared to ever do it. What about you guys? |

If I do have to pay cash, I never leave him in the car. I usually just pay at the pump with my debit card and he sits in the car while I am pumping gas. I never leave in the car alone for anything.

I always pay at the pump so I can see him through the window
 But if I go in to get a drink or something he goes too. Reese knows how to get out of his car seat. I'm always afraid he will drive away with out be me  (actually I am worried he really would get in the drivers seat and end up wrecking.)I'm also worried someone would grab him and leave with him as well

Every time I go to the gas station to get smokes or something they look at me like I'm crazy for lugging his car seat in and I just want to flip out! Like.. I think it's okay to leave an 8yo and up in the car but geez my son is 3mo old!

i only pay at the pump...and for the record, i have only pumped gas like 5 times in the past year because hubby always does it for me. he always checks to see if i'm running low. i know, i'm spoiled

99.9% of the time, I pay at the pump. In that tiny instance that I have to go in to prepay, I always, ALWAYS take my son in with me. I would absolutely not leave him in the car.
