buried penis - New Moms

Has anyone had a son with this??

Maddox has a penis but it goes like inside himself.. If you push on the area next to his penis it comes out.. Its kinda gross but its kinda like a dogs penis in how it comes out..

My MIL said she looked it up online and said that she thinks its a buried penis.. I didnt think anything was wrong until she mentioned it to me today.

I work with children and yes, I've seen little boys like that. Kind of reminds me of a turtle....like they're circumsized but there's like a pile of extra skin kinda...I'll try to find a pic of what I'm thinking of

They haven't said anything... But I dont think they've ever looked at hisnpenis long enough..

I know when my son went to the doctor they always pulled his diaper down and looked at his penis to make sure it all looked good.

I think if something was wrong they would notice. Next time he has a check up bring it up and see what they suggest.

My sons is like this too and I was begining to wonder if it was ok. My doc has never said anything though.

Make sure wash around it really good Felisha. Scummy stuff can still develop inside and make it red and irritated. Push it out with one hand and wash it with the other, but don't pull on it.

Cristian's doc always pulls off his diaper and checks his penis at every appointment. I'm sure they would have said something if it wasn't ok.

I always clean it w/ a wipe during diaper changes and during baths.. It looks fine i just dint think its normal for his head to go all the way in even after being circmsized.. He was circmsized with a band.. Anyone have this done?

I've assessed a lot of little guys without diapers in the last few years of working with kids - and let me tell you - that's more common than you would think. Mention it to the pediatrician if you're concerned, but give him a little while to grow. As long as he's clean and it's not causing issues, he should be fine.
