    Feeding advice needed

    Advertisements
Well little Miss Curious Georgia has started to not eat during the day. She'll eat one or two ounces every four or five hours and it's usually a fight to get that.
She's trying to hold her bottle (which is awesome) but that means the bottle is in and out of her mouth constantly and she tries sucking on both thumbs as she's eating. She's just a little busy body.
I've tried holding her arms down to eat (but I hate doing that). I've tried sitting in a dark room, singing to her, just sitting quietly with her, avoiding all distractions but she still won't eat. (This is going on week two now).

This is all fine and dandy until nighttime. The girl is starving so she wakes up every three hours like clockwork and downs four or five ounces.
I want her to eat more during the day and less at night. I'm sleepy.
    Any suggestions???

One website I read said to feed her less (like 2 ounces at a time) at night and keep trying for more during the day. I might try this.
My friend said to just let her CIO. This is not an option. If my baby is hungry, my baby will eat.

Any ideas, advice, words of wisdom?
    TIA

What about swaddling her and sitting in a quiet room? I don't have much advice as my kid is a little pig.

Not yet. The doc did give us the green light but I wanted to wait a little longer.

i would try to introduce a little bit of cereal, and after she eats the cereal give her a bottle to wash it down. (: (after eating that yucky stuff she'll want a nummy ba ba )

that way her little tummy is getting more full during the day, and try to give her some cereal right before bed/bath time and that way she will fall asleep for a while (:

ETA: i started emi on ceral at 3 months, i would give it to her when she first woke up, lunch time, and bed time! and she's always slept a good while at night! hope thsi helps!

Have you mentioned it to her doctor? Maybe they have some suggestions?

I did. She wasn't concerned. Said it's probably just a phase. I hope this phase ends quickly. I miss when she was sleeping a seven hour stretch at night.
