Feeding advice needed
Well little Miss Curious Georgia has started to not eat during the day. She'll eat one or two ounces every four or five hours and it's usually a fight to get that.
She's trying to hold her bottle (which is awesome) but that means the bottle is in and out of her mouth constantly and she tries sucking on both thumbs as she's eating. She's just a little busy body.I've tried holding her arms down to eat (but I hate doing that). I've tried sitting in a dark room, singing to her, just sitting quietly with her, avoiding all distractions but she still won't eat. (This is going on week two now). This is all fine and dandy until nighttime. The girl is starving so she wakes up every three hours like clockwork and downs four or five ounces. I want her to eat more during the day and less at night. I'm sleepy. ![]() Any suggestions??? One website I read said to feed her less (like 2 ounces at a time) at night and keep trying for more during the day. I might try this. My friend said to just let her CIO. This is not an option. If my baby is hungry, my baby will eat. Any ideas, advice, words of wisdom? TIA |
