He doesnt want to eat. *update*
He does this every once in a while, but today every time I put him to the breast he freaks out. He wont even latch on. He pullls his head back and starts to fuss. Its not like he even starts nursing then stops, I cant get him to start. He doesnt like either breast.
Would you be worried? I posted a few days ago about how hes not gaining weight, and then a couple days later about how my supply is very low. Id normally figure that he wont starve himself, but I dont want my supply to drop any more and I dont want him to get any skinnier. Any ideas? Im pumping but Im getting nothing and it's just starting to be annoying

If you aren't producing he probably knows that.
If you are wanting to continue breastfeeding then go to the doctor and let him/her know they can give you some meds to help you continue to produce milk! If you can't get any from the pump then your supply has probably reduced drastically. I had to take medicine when I had DS because he was in the NICU for 16 days and my boobies were drying up. |
