Newborn CD stash - New Moms

What did you have in yours? We will be getting some GMD prefolds (2 dozen) and I have some XS covers from when Bella was small. What is a good fitted for a newborn that fits well? Good AIO? Family prefers fitteds and AIOs.

I am using kissaluv fitteds right now. I am selling them off to get some more in a bigger size. I also love my mutts. I am currently using thirsties covers. I had no luck with AIOs so i cant help you on that one. I have some wool also that i am getting the hang of. Her coming home outfit was wool longies.

We have 24 GMD unbleached prefolds and 4 Thirsties covers. We also have 12 one-size Happy Heinys, but we only use those for her nighttime diaper, since they swallow up a newborn.

we've purchased a few covers to use with prefolds and I think I'm going to love the thirsties best, already. but I'll let ya know!

I got 24 kissaluv size 0s and had a few bummis covers. I also had about a dozen BG 3.0 and used those about 2 weeks to a month after she was born as well as 3 BG AIO size small.

I didn't really like the KL0s though and next time I'll probably just do prefolds and covers. It is the cheapest and easiest option on a newborn. You can get a bunch to change them all the time like they need and they wash up nice and easy. I'll probably have some AIO's too.

Thanks... We skipped the NB stage with Bella since I was recovering from surgeries etc. And yep, pregnant again... quite a surprise.

I used 24 preemie LL unbleached pf (those lasted until she was 3-4 months), 7 KL0's for bedtime, and 8 covers just to be on the safe side.
