does your baby do this when he/she eats?

sometimes dd gets so hungry, and my milk lets down quickly, that she gets out of breathe while she's eating she's so dramatic about it. she whips her head back, catches her breathe for a few seconds, then whips back to my breast it cracks me up!

anyone else's baby do this?

yes! Hailey does it all the time I think she thinks eating is more important than breathing

all the time. same thing happened with my oldest when he was bfing too. lol.

Kaia is bad about it. She latches on l ike she hasnt had a meal in days and then starts marathon gulping. I have to keep a washcloth handy when she eats.

My daughter does both of these things, much to my own and my husband's amusement.

LOL Amelia too!! She gets down to business then has to take a breath and keep going LMAO. Funniest is when she grins in there too!!

Muffin was so bad when she was nursing that she'd choke and pull off and cough and cry milk everywhere and the milk would be spraying b/c of letdown ad it got everywhere. I quickly learned to tuck a cloth diaper, receiving blanket, etc. between my skin and bra, both to keep my bra clean and so that i could stop the flow.

She still does it so,etimes with bottles. she acts like she never eats but her 2 1/2 chins, thunder thighs, chubby tummy, and the fact that she was 75th percentile weight at her 4 month check-up kinda give away her shamming.
