Breastfeeding moms...
When did you get your period for the first after having your baby?

Any breastfeeding mom using natural planing? I don't even know if that's possible/successful if you are not getting your period

I got my first period about a month after I delivered. Were doing NFP, I have no idea if you can do it if you arent getting your period, probably not I would think since you cant chart and figure out ovulation. IDK though

I have, so far with each kiddo, had my first period around 15 months.

We use NFP.

i don't know anything bout the NFP but with my son I didn't get mine back until he was 10 months old.

How do you do it if you are not getting your period? You can PM if you rather do that.
I still haven't gotten my period (not missing it though

) but I don't know how to even go about doing NFP without it.

My baby just turned one but I'm using BC. I haven't had one yet.

I didn't get a period for years after having my second. She was 10 months when I got an IUD. The IUD made the difference. This time I still haven't gotten it. I'm not on any BC. We use the VCF things. I breast feed exclusively though. The Dr. told me its highly unlikely I'd get pregnant right now. I'd rather not find out. I'm scared to death to get

again but our insurance doesn't cover any sort of BC at all. I have no clue how NFP would work for me since I have no cycles to chart.

I stopped BFing at 6/7wks and I JUST got my period and he's 13wks

I have the mirena so thats different but I still haven't gotten my period. YAY!!!
